Queen Mary Take to Pieces Model. This is one of her most sought after pieces! A cardboard model of the liner 12″ in length. Two screws hold the 13 decks into place. When the screws are loosened, you can remove the decks. Each deck has the Deck Plan of that deck printed on in full color! A chart is included with the descriptions of 240 points numbered on the model. The key chart states that two ordinary long pins make effective masts if pushed into the decks at the points marked. The model was made by The Chad Valley Co, Ltd. in England. c1936. The model itself is in very good condition. Some wear on box. This item can be seen at www.oceanliner.com/queen-mary-model

“The Queen Mary Puzzle”. Old c1936 hand puzzle from the “R.J. Series” made in England. The object of the game is to shake the buoys into place and then maneuver the likeness of a ship (The Queen Mary) from the ocean into the dock without disturbing the buoys. Old type shake toy with pieces sealed under glass. With age, the masts have fallen off the ship, and the buoys have fallen out of their place but are still inside the puzzle.

Old wooden Jig Saw puzzle. Small, measures 4×6″. Only contains about 35 pieces. Puzzle is complete, and put together. (But can easily be taken apart). Shows a port bow view at sea. c1936.

Very rare wooden Jig Saw Puzzle. Size of puzzle when pieced together is 5.5×7″. Shows a starboard view in color of the ship at sea. Unfortunately about 5-6 pieces are missing. There are 63 pieces included. The original box is tattered, but present. c1920s.

Souvenir metal memo book. 2 x 2.75″. A wonderful starboard bow likeness of the ship is embossed on the cover. The back cover has the HAPAG Line flag as well as wording “Souvenir of My Ocean Trip”. When the mechanical pencil is removed, the cover springs up to reveal a booklet of blank memo paper. None of the paper was ever used. Very nice condition. There is some tarnish on the outside- possibly silver plate. The inside workings of the pencil is missing. These were made c1905 and are highly desired souvenirs of the early German ships.

“World’s Largest Ship”. 10.5″ square souvenir handkerchief. Appears to be silk. Illustration of ship, as well as statistics and wording “The Ship that Brought Me Home” printed on. Actually refers to ship as USS IMPERATOR, so ship was on war service. c1918.
