Queen Mary Take to Pieces Model. This is one of her most sought after pieces! A cardboard model of the liner 12″ in length. Two screws hold the 13 decks into place. When the screws are loosened, you can remove the decks. Each deck has the Deck Plan of that deck printed on in full color! A chart is included with the descriptions of 240 points numbered on the model. The key chart states that two ordinary long pins make effective masts if pushed into the decks at the points marked. “The Queen Mary Puzzle”. Old c1936 hand puzzle from the “R.J. Series” made in England. The object of the game is to shake the buoys into place and then maneuver the likeness of a ship (The Queen Mary) from the ocean into the dock without disturbing the buoys. Old type shake toy with pieces sealed under glass. With age, the masts have fallen off the ship, and the buoys have fallen out of their place but are still inside the puzzle.

Old wooden Jig Saw puzzle. Small, measures 4×6″. Only contains about 35 pieces. Puzzle is complete, and put together. (But can easily be taken apart). Shows a port bow view at sea. c1936.

Suberb Cut Away Diagram in illustrious color. Opens to a large 10×48″. Folds down into 7×10″ covers. 94 parts of the ship are number coded for identification. On the reverse are 12 full color illustrations of Cunard Liners. Fair condition only. Staining to covers. Slight staining to cut away itself. A few splits at seams and a tear were expertly repaired, but still worthy of a place in finer collections! c1924.

“Famous Cunarders” Superb advertising brochure. Opens to 4×31″. Contains 6 Black & White post card size views of the ships listed. Each of the views is the same view that appeared on a famous series of Cunard post cards at the time. There is also a post card sized photo of the Cunard offices in Liverpool, as well as “The Public Space” and “The Saloon Lounge” of the Liverpool office. List of Cuanrd offices. c1921.

We would date this item c1920 because the text mentions the addition of the liner to the Cunard fleet, and also refers to her as the Berengaria and the “ex Imperator” in several places. Captions. Very rare wooden Jig Saw Puzzle. Size of puzzle when pieced together is 5.5×7″. Shows a starboard view in color of the ship at sea. Unfortunately about 5-6 pieces are missing. There are 63 pieces included. The original box is tattered, but present. c1920s.
